site updates

link

You’ll notice a few cosmetic changes to my site that are a result of converting everything to use git as a back-end. Now you can browse the source code to any of my projects, and easily download multiple versions or even download directly from the repository.

I might do a write up on how I use GIT to run this site, but that will be for later. For now please let me know if there are any issues with any of the pages.

fancy-categories update in subversion

link

Just a heads up to those interested, I had a request to add some functionality to fancy-categories. Now fancy-categories is smart enough to know that if the current page is a single post, it will auto-expand that post’s categories.

I haven’t released an updated version yet due to what I feel is a bug in wordpress. You can however grab it using subversion:

 svn co svn://svn.voidsplat.org/fancy-categories/trunk fancy-categories

subversion and demos

I finally found the time to move my subversion repositories and setup access to them. I updated each of the project pages so they contain the correct info.

Also, I added a demo page that shows off the wordpress plugins that I don’t regularly use. You can find it here

dwords, some thoughts and words

link

Recently I’ve felt the need for a wordpress section of my site, for 2 reasons: first, to help me improve my wordpress plugins, and second, to give me an outlet for my thoughts.

The former appears to happen a lot more than the latter.

I have plans to re-do the expand-comments plugin. After re-installing it I realized there was a number of improvements I could make, so I plan on doing just that.

This theme is completely new, and it’s not quite done yet, so please bare with me as I continue to improve it.
